What is the Mark VIeS System?

The Mark VIeS is an end-to-end IEC 61508 certified functional safety system for industrial applications that delivers high performance, flexibility, connectivity, and redundancy under extreme conditions to protect property, production, personnel, and communities.

The system can be configured to meet the safety requirements of specific applications by choosing the appropriate level of redundancy choices:

Versatile, open-architecture control system

Mark VIe integrated control software was developed specifically for power generation applications. Implementing a modular architecture, Mark VIe ICS allows for a mission-specific turbine control within the same environment as an open plant process control. 
The system can scale across applications ranging from turbine to plant-level control and protection. Additionally, the modular technology provides extended life and allows for future technology upgrades and obsolescence protection.
