IQS452 204-452-000-011 SIGNAL CONDITIONER
The IQS 452 signal conditioner contains an HF modulator/demodulator that provides the drive signal to the sensor. This generates the necessary electromagnetic field for measuring the gap. The conditioner circuit is made from high quality components and is mounted in an aluminum extrusion.
The HF modulator/demodulator in the IQS 451, 452, 453 signal conditioner provides a drive signal to a matched proximity sensor. This generates the necessary electromagnetic field for measuring the gap between the sensor tip and the target using the eddy current principle. As the gap distance changes, the output of the conditioner provides a dynamic signal proportional to the target motion.
Power for the sensor conditioner system is derived from the associated processor module or rack power supply. The conditioner circuitry is made from high quality components and is mounted and potted in an aluminium extrusion to protect against moisture and dust.
