In the event that no power supply provides reverse protection, a certified diode block accessory shall be used for reverse protection between the power supplies. The current carrying capacity provides individual overcurrent protection, but the protection current for each conductor shall not exceed 15A. Power for Ethernet switches, controllers, and I/O modules shall be provided through a power distribution board that limits the available current to a maximum of 3.5 amps and is certified for use in applicable classified locations.
