Ethernet Restrictions and Open Issues
Number of SRTP Requests Tallied May Vary
When running multiple SRTP client channels, the number of requests, as reported by the client and the server, may differ between the connections.
SRTP connection remains open after IP address change
The Ethernet interface does not terminate all open SRTP connections before changing its IP address. Any existing open TCP connections are not terminated properly once the local IP address is changed. This causes SRTP connections to remain open until their underlying TCP connection times out. If faster recovery of SRTP connections is required, modify the "wkal_idle" advanced user parameter to reduce the TCP keep-alive timer to the desired maximum keep-alive time.
