EMERSON A6500-UM Universal Measurement Card
The A6500-UM Universal Measurement Card is a component of the AMS 6500 ATG Machinery Protection System. The card is equipped with 2 sensor input channels (independently or combined depending on the selected measurement mode) and can be used with the most common sensors such as Eddy Current, Piezoelectric (Accelerometer or Velocity), Seismic (Electric), LF (Low Frequency Bearing Vibration), Hall Effect and LVDT (in combination with A6500-LC) sensors. In addition to this, the card contains 5 digital inputs and 6 digital outputs. The measurement signals are transmitted to the A6500-CC communication card via the internal RS 485 bus and converted to Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP protocols for further transmission to a host or analysis system. In addition, the communication card provides communication via a USB socket on the panel for connection to a PC/Laptop to configure the card and visualize the measurement results. In addition to this, the measurement results can be output via 0/4 - 20 mA analog outputs. These outputs have a common ground and are electrically isolated from the system power supply. Operation of the A6500-UM Universal Measurement Card is performed in the A6500-SR System Rack, which also provides connections for supply voltages and signals. The A6500-UM Universal Measurement Card provides the following functions:
