The PDP800 module connects the Symphony Plus controller to the S800 I/O via PROFIBUS DP V2. The S800 I/O offers options for all signal types, from basic analog and digital inputs and outputs to pulse counters and intrinsically safe applications. The S800 I/O sequence of events functionality is supported by PROFIBUS DP V2 with 1 millisecond accuracy time stamping of events at the source.
Symphony Plus includes a comprehensive set of standards-based control hardware and software to meet the requirements of the entire factory automation. The SD Series PROFIBUS Interface PDP800 provides connectivity between the Symphony Plus controller and the PROFIBUS DP communication channel.
